Same error message here... downloaded latest version and getting the mtouch-cache message referencing a libGoogleAnalytics.a while trying to build the project..it's a shame that this problem has not been solved yet sorry...

Any plans on upgrading the component to latest Google analytics SDK. Google has fixed a bug in the SDK which is affecting us right with the 3.14 version

I don't see any data in Google Analytics. I'm pretty sure that the ID is right. Any hints?

If you're getting build errors and your project references both Analytics and Maps, make sure you update Analytics to v >=3.14.0.5. See https://forums.xamarin.com/discussion/62339/adding-xamarin-google-ios-signin-results-in-a-native-linking-error-mt5209/p2

Can't build if the project references both Xamarin.Google.iOS.Analytics (3.14.0.1) and Xamarin.Google.iOS.Maps (1.11.1.2).

It works fine if only one of these packages is referenced.

Here is the error I get :

/Users/aktar/Documents/applications/src/mysln/myproject/myproject.csproj (Build) ->
/Library/Frameworks/Mono.framework/External/xbuild/Xamarin/iOS/Xamarin.iOS.Common.targets (_CompileToNative target) ->

    MTOUCH: warning MT1302: Could not extract the native library 'GoogleMaps' from '/Users/aktar/Documents/applications/src/mysln/myproject/obj/iPhoneSimulator/Debug/mtouch-cache/GoogleMaps'. Please ensure the native library was properly embedded in the managed assembly (if the assembly was built using a binding project, the native library must be included in the project, and its Build Action must be 'ObjcBindingNativeLibrary').

Errors:

/Users/aktar/Documents/applications/src/mysln/myproject/myproject.csproj (Build) ->
/Library/Frameworks/Mono.framework/External/xbuild/Xamarin/iOS/Xamarin.iOS.Common.targets (_CompileToNative target) ->

Edit

Well I resolved this error by insuring the Xamarin.Build.Download nuget package is installed, it download and add the native lib in the project. But now I have another error : Native linking error: file is universal (4 slices) but does not contain a(n) armv7s slice, looks like it have been shiped without armv7s support...

See :

Can't compile when adding this lib :

Native linking error: clang: error: no such file or directory: '/Users/..../50da77c8c6d540c863ccc128c8abc07e/obj/iPhone/Debug/mtouch-cache/libGoogleAnalytics.a
